Cult streetwear brand Fxxking Rabbits (abbreviated to #FR2) and Japan’s leading sneaker marketplace SNKRDUNK have teamed up for a Singapore-exclusive capsule collection releasing on 17 December. This first-ever partnership between the two Japanese brands will include parodic graphics that reflect their mutual passion for disruption in their respective scenes.
To celebrate this launch, the SNKRDUNK Singapore store will be holding a Kuji Lucky Draw from 17 – 18 December that includes a series of hype sneakers like the coveted Nike Air Jordan 1 High “Lost and Found” and Travis Scott x Nike Air Max 1. The first 50 customers will also receive a signed polaroid picture with #FR2 founder Ryo Ishikawa.
Both household names and subsequent exports of Japan’s streetwear circuit, SNKRDUNK and #FR2 share an esoteric understanding of the country’s street culture. Within its expanse, the two brands see that meaning and value manifest from interactions. A personal meaning attached to a possession—be it sneakers or streetwear—gains deeper value as it is discussed within the community. The two have revolved in each other’s orbit and their trajectory abroad has resulted in an exclusive collaboration in the SNKRDUNK Singapore store at Mandarin Gallery, featuring the usual suspects of t-shirts, caps, and other accessories. The limited edition collection bears the same spirit and MO that’s made #FR2 and SNKRDUNK popular. Every purchase will come with co-branded stickers exclusive to this collection.
