This is the second year for Rise Of The Sneakers, “Breaking The Boundaries”. It was bigger and definitely better. It was held over at Grand Batam Mall for a period of four days. Not just a sneaker event but many other shows and activities were included like dance competition, trunk show, colouring competition, marketplace flea, sneaker exhibition and hip hop performances. Batam is a small Indonesian city and it’s an hour ferry ride over from Singapore. It’s quite a surprise to have a community and scene filled with creatives, fashionist and cool folks that get along with you instantly. So you guys get ready and count yourself in for the next edition. We also like to congratulate the Rise Of The Sneakers team for the successful event and having us over with the warm hospitality.
