CASIO Singapore announces its new ambassadorship with skateboarding world champion Yuto Horigome. The partnership sees G-SHOCK firmly in Horigome’s wrist, as he continues to dominate skateparks around the globe.
Since picking up a skateboard at just six years old, Horigome has risen to the pinnacle of competitive skateboarding, racking up multiple victories at major international competitions. Beyond the podium, he has become a defining figure in skate culture, influencing its visual language, fashion sensibility, and the way a new generation moves through the city.

The collaboration reflects the natural synergy between Horigome and G-SHOCK, both built on resilience, precision, and an uncompromising drive to push boundaries within their respective arenas.
To mark the partnership, a series of campaign visuals featuring the signature typography of Japanese artist VERDY has been unveiled. A longtime collaborator of Horigome and one of Japan’s most recognisable creative exports, VERDY brings his distinct visual identity to the campaign.

G-SHOCK models worn by Yuto Horigome
Horigome wears the full-metal GMW-BZ5000D-1, which carries on the hallmark 5000-series form with a high-contrast MIP LCD, and an exterior structure co-created by human designers and generative AI using over 40 years of shock-resistance data.
Also on rotation is the DW-5000R, the closest modern successor to the first-ever G-SHOCK, staying faithful to the original 1983 design while adding features such as a high-brightness LED backlight and bio-based resin components.

In addition, a special film produced by street culture publication THIRTY 3 MAGAZINE with VERDY serving as editor-in-chief, has been released across CASIO’s official social media platforms.
