I would like to give a shoutout to all the entrepreneurs, makers, creatives, artisans, artists and business owners in this city. In the current pandemic situation with the circuit-breaker still ongoing, it had put an obstruction to most of our local traders. The economy is drastically going down. The only way we could do our part to help as a community is to support our homegrown businesses. Share new feeds from our local brands/shops to your friends and family members on social media. Create the awareness and everyone will get their fair share. Nothing is too small.
Your continuous support to our local home-based businesses and also brick & mortar shop are extremely important. The only way they could sustain is through the community. With the aid of modern technology, e-commerce had made good use especially in time of this pandemic and lockdown. Due to the worldwide lockdown, the sales in local products is increasing due to the accessibility within the city and we hope it continues after the crisis end. Nothing is gain on my end campaigning on this but a pure feeling of satisfaction to help friends who run a business out there. Once we did think that by 2020, we will see flying taxi’s and a futuristic world but the fact that we are in this state of fear and sadness taken over by a virus. I saw a lot of business shut down and failed miserably within this period. Let’s take a step and share the positivity.
We are hoping for the virus to end real soon and wish everyone well out there. Good luck to all my friends who never stop putting their businesses and services at the top even during bad times. As a community, we can do this together.
